Lviv Region athlete Ivan Dzyailo has made it into the top five armwrestlers in the world. He competed at the World Armwrestling Championship, which concluded in New Delhi, India.
According to ShoTam, this was reported by the Lviv Regional Military Administration.
More than 1,600 athletes from over 65 countries took part in the competition. Ivan represented Ukraine’s national junior team in the U18 age category, competing in the 70 kg weight class.
For the athlete, this was his first World Championship in a new age category. He finished fifth in both the left-arm and right-arm competitions.
