Singer Monokate (Kateryna Pavlenko) raised over 1 million UAH in less than a day as part of the We Are All Here charity fundraiser. The goal is to collect funds to purchase 33 drone detectors for units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The initial target was $22,500, but it was surpassed in under 24 hours, reaching $25,000. The raised funds will be used to purchase drone detectors for the 80th Separate Air Assault Brigade, the 14th Ivan Bohun Operational Brigade, and the 26th Separate Artillery Brigade. Drone detectors allow service members to detect enemy UAVs in advance and give them time to change positions, take cover, or apply countermeasures. This was reported by NV.ua.

“Yesterday evening (28 January — ed. note) I launched a fundraiser for our defenders to buy drone detectors. Honestly, I was nervous: the amount was large, the campaign international, and I already had another fundraiser open with the Hertz Foundation for electronic warfare equipment. But in less than a day, we reached one million hryvnias. I am grateful for every donation and for the international support,” said Kateryna Pavlenko.

She also encouraged other participants of the Eurovision National Selection to use the increased attention on their work for the greatest benefit to the country, noting that the Ukrainian selection is closely watched not only by Ukrainians but also by an international audience.

“Right now, the international audience is focused on the Ukrainian Eurovision National Selection, and on me in particular, and I urge everyone who can to launch fundraisers: call them TYT and connect them with yours, ours, and everyone else’s efforts for all things charitable, for our country. This is a moment when we, the National Selection participants, can use our influence for the greatest benefit to our military. It is more important than any competitions, rivalry, or trolling in threads, and we all understand our priorities. I — and all of us here — can create only thanks to the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” emphasized the singer.

Most of the funds for the campaign were donated to Kateryna Pavlenko by an international audience, with contributions coming from 27 countries. As of 30 January, the total has risen to $33,333, and the fundraiser is still ongoing.

Kateryna Pavlenko is competing for the chance to represent Ukraine at Eurovision 2026 with her solo project Monokate and the song TYT. In 2021, she participated in Eurovision as part of the band GO_A, which finished fifth overall and second in the public vote. The band’s song SHUM has amassed over 100 million views on YouTube and more than 140 million streams on various platforms.

The final of Ukraine’s National Selection for Eurovision 2026 will take place on 7 February 2026. Monokate will perform third.
