Coronavirus in Ukraine: Day 77

Daily updates on coronavirus data in Ukraine, including the regional dimensions, since the first COVID-19 case was registered on March 3, 2020.




18,876 cases of COVID-19 confirmed in Ukraine as of May 19, 2020 (official data on 9:30 a.m. Kyiv time), the Ministry of Health informed.  Among infected: 1,348 (+24) children (7.1%) and 3,696 (+46) medics (19.6%).

260 new cases reported during the last 24 hours. The number of cases increased in 1.4% for the last day.

5,978 (+107) Ukrainians with COVID-19 hospitalized (31.5% of total confirmed cases), including 234 children and 671 (+9) medical workers. 

245 (+5) patients, including 1 children and 21 medical workers receive ventilation.

548 (+13) deaths, including 27 medics from COVID-19 reported in Ukraine. Death rate is about 2.9%

5,276 patients recovered from coronavirus in Ukraine, including 27 children and 1445 (+90) medics.
