Representatives of the Ukrainian community and activists in Stockholm gathered at Sergels Torg Square to express their support for Ukraine and thank Sweden for its assistance during Russia’s full-scale war.

The event organizers, Nordic Ukraine Forum, reported this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

The rally took place on Sunday, November 1, and marked the 1,712th day of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine.

Participants emphasized the importance of standing together in the struggle and expressed their belief in the victory of Ukraine and the democratic world.

“We continue our collective struggle. We thank Sweden for its tremendous support. We thank everyone who attends demonstrations and supports Ukraine. We believe that Ukraine will win, and that the entire democratic world will win with it,” the rally organizers emphasized.

The Ukrainian community holds similar peaceful rallies in Stockholm every Sunday. Nordic Ukraine Forum has announced the next demonstration for November 8 at 12:00 p.m. at Sergels Torg Square.

As Ukrinform reported, trees were planted in the Norwegian municipality of Skien in memory of Ukrainian children killed as a result of Russia’s war against Ukraine.
