Nighttime Attack on Kryvyi Rih: Consequences Reported

A Russian drone attack on Kryvyi Rih injured four people, damaged homes and public buildings, caused fires, while air defenses downed eight UAVs overnight.

Five two-story residential buildings, private homes, an administrative building, and a cultural institution were damaged.

In Kryvyi Rih, a Russian drone attack left four people injured and sparked fires. This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Vladyslav Haivanenko, on Telegram on Thursday, December 18, according to korrespondent.net.

“Four people were injured in Kryvyi Rih as a result of a UAV attack. Women aged 71 and 67 were hospitalized in moderate condition. The others are receiving outpatient treatment,” he wrote.

As a result of the Russian attack, outbuildings caught fire, and a private house, five two-story buildings, an administrative building, a cultural institution, and garages were damaged.

In the Nikopol district, the occupiers shelled the area with Grad multiple launch rocket systems and attacked with an FPV drone. Marhanets and the Pokrovske community were hit; the consequences are being clarified.

Air defense forces shot down eight Russian drones over the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Earlier, six people were injured in Cherkasy during a nighttime drone attack, leaving part of the city without electricity. Power outages were also reported in two districts of the Mykolaiv region following a nighttime Russian strike on energy infrastructure.
