A fire broke out, prompting the swift evacuation of residents from the upper floors. According to the police, two buildings were damaged.
At 12:30 AM, reports emerged of a fire on the roof of a 25-story residential building in Brovary caused by a UAV fragment, according to the city’s mayor, Ihor Sapozhko.
The official stated that the fire spread over an area of 30 square meters. Two firefighting units from Brovary, along with fire brigades from Knyazhychi and Trebukhiv, were involved in extinguishing the blaze.
The fire was quickly extinguished, with no significant destruction or injuries reported.
Kyiv Region Police confirmed that two high-rise buildings were damaged during the night. In one building, fragments fell on the roof, igniting a fire in the elevator shaft, which was promptly put out by firefighters. No injuries were reported. Another building suffered window and vehicle damage.
