On Wednesday, June 4, an explosion and fire occurred near a military base in the city of Kolomna, Moscow region.
This was reported by local Telegram channels.
It is also specified that the fire started at the end of Kolgospna Street, behind the bread factory.
According to local residents, an auto repair service also burned down. Explosions were heard beforehand.
Kolomna is home to the machine-building design bureau, which manufactures Iskander and Kinzhal missiles.
No reports of casualties have been released. Kremlin proxies have so far not officially commented on the situation.
On the night of May 29, explosions were heard in the Moscow region amid active air defense operations.
Specifically, Moscow’s Vnukovo airport was shut down, and a so-called “Kover plan” was activated due to an air threat.
On May 6, Russian occupiers claimed their air defense systems shot down 19 drones over Kolomna.
