On the night of Monday, December 15, the aggressor country Russia attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region with drones, damaging infrastructure facilities and a transport company; train delays have been reported.
The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Vladyslav Haivanenko, said that the Russians attacked the Mykolaivka community in the Synelnykove district, injuring two men aged 29 and 42. Fires broke out at the site, and infrastructure was damaged. NV.ua reports this.
Russian forces also attacked Pavlohrad and Pyatykhatky with drones, causing fires. Infrastructure and a transport enterprise were damaged there as well.
In addition, Russian troops struck the Nikopol district and the Marhanets community using Grad multiple launch rocket systems.

The State Emergency Service clarified that as a result of the strike on the Synelnykove district, a rescuer and an employee of a company were injured and hospitalized.
Ukrzaliznytsia said that enemy shelling in the Dnipropetrovsk region caused a power outage to the overhead contact line.

Ukrzaliznytsia said that reserve diesel locomotives have already been deployed, and railway power engineers are gradually restoring electric traction, but delays are still ongoing. In particular, the following trains are delayed:
No. 119 Dnipro–Chełm (+3 hours);
No. 120 Chełm–Dnipro (+3 hours 40 minutes);
No. 75/76 Kyiv–Kryvyi Rih (+4 hours 25 minutes);
No. 37/38 Kyiv–Zaporizhzhia (+4 hours 10 minutes);
No. 79/80 Dnipro–Lviv (+6 hours 30 minutes).

Ukrzaliznytsia also noted that some suburban trains on the Dnipro and Kryvyi Rih routes will be operating today with delays of three to four hours.
In particular, train No. 6008 Pyatykhatky–Dnipro is running with a three-hour delay, while No. 6501 Pyatykhatky–Kryvyi Rih is delayed by four hours.
