Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of August 9, 2019 by Joint forces operation HQ data: EMPR highlights.

(1) Russian hybrid forces launched 9 attacks in the war zone in eastern Ukraine over the last 24 hours.

(2) Russian occupiers launched 8 attacks with the use of the following types of arms in the East area:

easel anti-tank grenade launcher – near Bogdanivka and Novogrygorivka,

automatic grenade launchers – near Novotoretske,

high caliber machine guns – near Novotroytske, Lebedynske and Verkhnyotoretske,

small arms – near Vodyane (2 times), Shyrokino, Lebedynske and Verkhnyotoretske.

(3) Russian forced launched 1 attack in the North area with the use of the following arms:

grenade launchers – near Novoluhanske,

small arms – near Novoluhanske,

(3) No losses reported among Russian forces over the last 24 hours.

(4) No losses reported among Ukrainian servicemen for the past day.
