Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of September 16, 2019 by Joint forces operation HQ data: EMPR highlights.

(1) Russian hybrid forces launched 16 attacks in the war zone in eastern Ukraine for the last 24 hours with the use of forbidden weaponry.

(2) Russian proxies launched 11 attacks with the following types of arms in the East area:

grenade launchers of different systems – near Avdyivka (2 times), Maryinka and Novognativka (3 times),

automatic grenade – near Vodyane and Krasnogorivka,

easel anti-tank grenade launchers – near Lebedynske,

small arms – near Avdyivka, Mykolayvka, Pishchevyk, Krasnogorivka, Vodyane, Maryinka and Novognativka.

(3) Russian occupiers launched 5 attacks in the North area with the use of the following types of arms:

forbidden 120-mm mortar launchers – near Novoluhanske (3 times),

forbidden 82-mm mortar launchers – near Novoluhanske (3 times), Zaytseve and Travneve,

automatic grenade launchers – near Novoluhanske.

(4) No lethal casualties as well as no wounded in actions reported among Ukrainian servicemen for the past day.
