Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of July 5, 2017 by ATO HQ operational data and Presidential Administration spokesman onATO issues briefing: EMPR highlights.
(1) Russian hybrid forces violated ceasefire regime in the war zone in eastern Ukraine 15 times over the last day, which is quite a little number; in particular, the enemy opened fire: 2 times on Luhansk direction, 6 times on Donetsk direction and 7 times on Mariupol direction; to this end, there were no cases reported of using hard weaponry by the enemy;
(2) Luhansk direction: Russian occupiers fulfilled shelling with the use of grenade launchers upon Ukrainian troops positions in the settlement of Kryakivla; the enemy attack’s with the use of machine guns reported in Stanytsya Luhanska;
(3) Donetsk direction: Settelements of Zaytseve, Avdiivka and Opytne came under Russian fire with one-hour-long attack each; the enemy also fulfilled armed provocation upon Ukrainian troops positions in Zaytseve and Butovka mine;
(4) Mariupol direction: the Russian forces launched warfare on Pavlopil – Shyrokine front line; Russian occupiers used grenade fire during while shelling Hnutove and Lebedynske; the enemy fulfilled a series of attacks with the use of small arms upon Pavlopol, Vodyane and Shyrokino;
(5) No lethal casualties reported as well as no wounded in actions among Ukrainian servicemen in the war zone in eastern Ukraine over the past 24 hours.
