The 1,633th day of Russia’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun.
Operational Update as of 08:00 AM on Russian invasion of Ukraine
A total of 222 combat engagements were recorded over the past day.
Yesterday, the enemy carried out 76 airstrikes, during which it dropped 237 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the invaders used 10,027 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,011 attacks on populated areas and the positions of Ukrainian forces.
The following settlements in Sumy region came under enemy artillery fire: Korenok, Ulanove, Vyntorivka, Yastrubshchyna, and Seredyna-Buda. In addition, the areas around Velyka Chernechchyna and Tovstodubove in Sumy region came under airstrikes.
Over the past day, Ukrainian Defense Forces’ aviation, missile forces, and artillery struck 14 areas where enemy personnel were concentrated and two UAV control posts.
Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders stopped four russian assaults over the past day. At the same time, the aggressor carried out three airstrikes using four guided aerial bombs and conducted 68 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian forces and populated areas.
Southern-Slobozhanskyi Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian units repelled 15 russian attacks. The invaders attempted to advance near Starytsia and Lyman, as well as toward Khatnie and Kolodiazne.
Kupiansk Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers launched one attack toward Zahryzove.
Lyman Direction
08:00 AM: Attempts to break through Ukrainian defenses were repelled, where the occupiers attacked 10 times near Zarichne, as well as toward Novoselivka, Shyikivka, and Drobyshеve.
Sloviansk Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers carried out 17 assault actions near Kryva Luka, Zakitne, and Riznykivka, as well as toward Rai-Oleksandrivka.
Kramatorsk Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers launched two attacks toward Nykyforivka and Yurkivka.
Kostyantinivka Direction
08:00 AM: 29 russian attacks were recorded. The invaders conducted assault actions near Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, and Ivanopillia, as well as toward Rusyn Yar and Stepanivka.
Pokrovsk Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders stopped 25 attacks. The enemy was active near Rodynske and Serhiivka, and also launched assaults toward Novyi Donbas, Hannivka, Shevchenko, Novohryshyne, Vasylivka, Myrne, Udachne, and Muravka.
Oleksandryvskyi Direction
08:00 AM: the russian invaders launched seven attacks toward Kalynivske, Vorone, Ternove, and Berezove.
Huliaipole Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers attacked 12 times. The enemy attempted to advance toward Vozdvyzhivka, Tsvitkove, Staroukrainka, Danylivka, and Charivne.
Orikhiv Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders stopped one russian attempt to advance toward Pavlivka.
Prydniprovskyi Direction
08:00 AM: the russian forces conducted no assault actions over the past day.
Volyn and Polissia Direction
08:00 AM: no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected.
Ukrainian defenders continue the systematic destruction of the russian enemy and are putting up effective resistance along all sections of the front.
Overall, Russian forces suffered 1,470 casualties over the past day.
Ukrainian forces also destroyed or disabled: 2 tanks, 11 armored combat vehicles, 46 artillery systems, 1 multiple-launch, rocket system, 3 air-defense systems, 14 ground robotic systems, 1,676 unmanned aerial vehicles.
