Today is the 1,440th day of the large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. Ukrainian defenders are steadfastly holding back the onslaught of the occupiers, inflicting significant losses on the enemy.
Update as of 08:00 AM on Russian invasion of Ukraine
Overall, 179 combat engagements were recorded over the past day.
According to updated information, yesterday the invaders carried out one missile strike on the territory of Ukraine, using one missile, as well as 44 air strikes, dropping 132 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they employed 7,255 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,339 shelling attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas, including 49 strikes from multiple launch rocket systems.
The aggressor carried out guided aerial bomb strikes on populated areas, including Zaliznychne, Liubytske, Vozdvyzhivka, Barvinivka, Rizdvianka, Verkhnia Tersa, and Luhivske in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
Over the past day, missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces struck: four enemy artillery guns; six areas of concentration of enemy personnel; two command posts; two air defense systems; two UAV control points.

Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk Direction
08:00 AM: Over the past day, the enemy carried out 94 shelling attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas, two of them from multiple launch rocket systems.
Southern-Slobozhanskyi Direction
08:00 AM: The enemy launched 11 assaults on the positions of our units in the areas of Starytsia and Vovchansk, and toward the settlements of Prylipka, Vilcha, Hrafske, Vovchanski Khutory, and Kutkivka.
Kupiansk Direction
08:00 AM: There were six enemy attacks yesterday. The Defense Forces repelled assault actions by the enemy in the area of Zahryzove and toward Kurylivka, Pishchane, and Kupiansk.
Lyman Direction
08:00 AM: The enemy attacked eight times, attempting to advance toward Novoserhiivka, Serednie, Drobysheve, and Dibrova.
Sloviansk Direction
08:00 AM: Our defenders repelled 12 attempts by the occupiers to advance in the areas of Dronivka, Platonivka, and Sviato-Pokrovske, toward Zakitne and Rai-Oleksandrivka.
Kramatorsk Direction
08:00 AM: Our defenders stopped one offensive action by the enemy in the area of Pryvillia.
Kostyantinivka Direction
08:00 AM: The enemy carried out 11 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Kleban-Byk, Shcherbynivka, Stepanivka, Ivanopillia, Yablunivka, and Sofiivka.
Pokrovsk Direction
08:00 AM: Our defenders stopped 41 assault and offensive actions by the aggressor in the areas of Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Udachne, Novopidhorodne, Shevchenko, Zatyshok, Myrnohrad, Kotlyne, Dachne, and Filiia, and toward Bilytske, Dorozhnie, Novopavlivka, Vilne, and Serhiivka.

08:00 AM: The enemy attempted 32 times to advance on the positions of our defenders in the area of Huliaipole and toward Staroukrainka, Varvarivka, Zelene, Sviatopetrivka, and Zaliznychne.

08:00 AM: Over the past day, the enemy did not conduct any offensive actions.
Volyn and Polissia Directions

Ukrainian warriors continue to inflict significant losses on the occupying forces in manpower and equipment and are actively undermining the enemy’s offensive potential in the rear.
