In total, 264 combat engagements were recorded over the past day.
Operational Update as of 08:00 AM on Russian invasion of Ukraine
Yesterday, the enemy carried out 73 airstrikes, dropping 238 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the invaders deployed 8,985 kamikaze drones and conducted 2,468 shellings of settlements and positions of our troops, including 51 with the use of multiple-launch rocket systems.
Settlements that came under enemy fire included, in particular, Bezsalivka, Korenok, Tovstodubove, Sopych, Ulanove, Malushyne, Rohizne, Kucherivka, Marchyshyna Buda, Potapivka, Rivne, Vasylivka, Kruzhok, Starikove, Yastrubshchyna, Senkivka, Iskryskivshchyna, Brusky, Kozache, and Mala Slobidka in Sumy Oblast; as well as Liskivshchyna, Kamin, and Naberezhne in Chernihiv Oblast. The settlements of Mkhy and Rivne were hit by airstrikes.
Over the past day, aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Defense Forces struck a concentration of enemy manpower, an artillery system, and a UAV launch site.
Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk Direction
08:00 AM: the russian aggressor carried out two airstrikes using four guided aerial bombs and conducted 35 shellings of the positions of our troops and settlements.
Southern-Slobozhanskyi Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian units repelled 11 russian attacks. The invaders attempted to advance toward the settlements of Starytsia, Izbytske, Vovchanski Khutory, Kreidianka, Volokhivske, Buzove, and Dovhenke.
Kupiansk Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers tried 12 times to improve its positions, conducting assault operations toward Radkivka, Kutkivka, and Kivsharivka.
Lyman Direction
08:00 AM: Attempts to wedge into Ukrainian defenses were repelled, the russian occupiers attacked 13 times toward the settlements of Nove, Zarichne, Kolodiazі, Lyman, and Dibrova.
Sloviansk Direction
08:00 AM: the russian enemy carried out one attack in the area of Yampil.
Kramatorsk Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers conducted no assault operations.
Kostyantinivka Direction
08:00 AM: 32 russian attacks were recorded. The invaders conducted offensive operations in the area of the settlement of Kostiantynivka and toward Novoselivka, Osykove, Mykolaipillia, Novopavlivka, Raiske, Toretske, Hruzke, Volodymyrivka, and Maiak.
Pokrovsk Direction
08:00 AM: The enemy carried out 36 attacks. The occupiers attempted to advance toward the settlements of Bilozerske, Chernihivka, Novyi Donbas, Vilne, Hannivka, Nykonorivka, Shevchenko, Serhiivka, Svitle, Vasylivka, and Novohryshyne.
Oleksandrivka Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers stormed five times toward Sichneve and Ternove.
Huliaipole Direction
08:00 AM: the russian forces attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders eight times. The enemy attempted to advance toward the settlements of Uspishne, Rizdvianka, Shyroke, and Ternove.
Orikhiv Direction
08:00 AM: the russian enemy tried three times to attack toward Pavlivka and Mali Shcherbaky.
Prydniprovske Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers conducted no assault operations.
Volyn and Polissia directions
08:00 AM: no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groupings were detected.
In total, Russian invaders’ losses over the past day amounted to 1,470 personnel. Also neutralized were two tanks, six armored combat vehicles, 51 artillery systems, four multiple-launch rocket systems, two air-defense systems, three ground robotic complexes, 1,416 unmanned aerial vehicles, 553 vehicles, and three units of special equipment of the enemy.
