Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of November 30, 2017 by ATO HQ operational data and Ministry of Defence spokesman on ATO issues: EMPR highlights.
(1) Situation remains tense in the war zone in eastern Ukraine as Russian hybrid forces launched 18 attacks against Ukrainian troops over the last 24 hours including 13 attacks in Luhansk direction and 5 attacks in Donetsk and Mariupol directions; Ukrainian forces returned fire in 6 cases;
(2) Luhansk direction: Russian occupiers launched long attack with the use of forbidden 120-mm and 82-mm mortar launchers near Luhanske and released 30 mines upon Ukrainian troops positions there; the enemy also actively used APCs, grenade launchers, machine guns and other small arms on this direction; Russian proxies fired with 82-mm mortars near Novotoshkivske; the enemy’s attacks with the use of grenade launchers of different calibers and small arms also reported near Novooleksandrivka, Novoluhanske, Troytske, Stanytsya Luhanska and Novozvanivka;
(3) Donetsk and Mariupol direction: Russian forces fired with forbidden mortars and released 7 mines upon Ukrainian troops near Vodyane and 10 mines near Pavlopol; the enemy’s shelling with grenade launchers reported in Verkhnyotoretske, Avdiivka and Krasnogorivka;
(4) No lethal casualties as well as no wounded in actions reported among Ukrainian serviceman in the war zone in eastern Ukraine over the last 24 hours.
