In Kyiv, a shell struck a nine-storey residential building in Obolonskyi district of the capital at 20 Bohatyrska Street.
As a result of the shelling, the first to third floors were partially destroyed, and apartments on the third and fourth floors caught fire.

According preliminary information, one person died and three were taken to hospital. This was reported in the State Emergency Service.
UDP (10:08 a.m.): 2 died (1 to be confirmed) and 7 injured among civilians, 18 people rescued from the rubble, 63 evacuated.
