Russians launched ballistic strikes on Kryvyi Rih with “Iskanders” and drones, injuring 13, damaging multiple apartment buildings and cars, while authorities provide aid and report casualties.

On the evening of January 8, Russians attacked Kryvyi Rih again. According to preliminary data, 13 people were injured. This was reported by Ukrainska Pravda.

Details: At 16:56, the Air Forces reported a threat of ballistic weapons being used from the south. At 16:59, they reported a high-speed target heading toward Kryvyi Rih.

Vilkul stated that a ballistic attack by the enemy on the city had begun. Suspilne reporters reported explosions.

The Head of the City Defense Council said that Russians struck apartment buildings with two ballistic “Iskanders.” Aid is being provided to those injured.

The Air Forces later also reported enemy drones approaching Kryvyi Rih.

As of 18:55, according to Vilkul, ten people were injured. One man is in critical condition in surgery with a leg blown off by the explosion.

At 19:45, the head of the OVA reported that the number of casualties had risen to 13. Nine people are in hospitals, including boys aged 7 and 16. One man remains in extremely critical condition.

Nearly a dozen and a half apartment buildings and cars were damaged.

Background: Vilkul reported that on January 7, Russian occupation forces carried out one of the largest combined attacks on Kryvyi Rih since the full-scale invasion began. The attack targeted several locations. As of Thursday morning, of the eight injured hospitalized, two remained in care.
