Today is the 1,579th day of the large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
Update as of 08:00 AM on Russian invasion of Ukraine
In total, 213 combat engagements were recorded over the past day. Yesterday the enemy carried out one missile strike using two missiles and 85 air strikes, dropping 267 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the invaders used 10,489 loitering attack drones and carried out 3,030 strikes on populated areas and positions of our troops.
In the Sumy region, areas of the settlements Tovstodubove and Sumy were hit by air strikes.
Over the past day, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile troops, and artillery struck eighteen areas of enemy personnel concentration and one artillery system.
Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk Direction
08:00 AM: the russian troops did not conduct assault actions yesterday. At the same time, the aggressor carried out one air strike using three guided aerial bombs, conducted 78 strikes on positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas, and used multiple-launch rocket systems twice.
Southern-Slobozhanskyi Direction
08:00 AM: repelled ten russian attacks in the areas of the settlements Vilcha, Starytsia, Izbytske, and Zybyno.
Kupiansk Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers attacked three times toward Kivsharivka, Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi, and Novoplatonivka.
Lyman Direction
08:00 AM: Attempts to break into Ukrainian defenses were recorded, russian occupiers attacked 21 times in the areas of Druzhliubivka, Yampil, Shyikivka, Olhivka, Novoselivka, Drobysheve, Derylove, and Lyman.Sloviansk Direction
08:00 AM: the russian troops carried out fourteen attacks toward Pyskunivka, Kryva Luka, Kalenykiv, Zakitne and Ray-Oleksandrivka.
Kramatorsk Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers conducted one assault in the area of Tykhonivka.
Kostyantinivka Direction
08:00 AM: In the areas of Pleshchiivka, Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Kostiantynivka and Rusyn Yar the enemy carried out eleven attacks.
Pokrovsk Direction
08:00 AM: The greatest number of russian assault actions was recorded, where Ukrainian defenders repelled 33 attacks. The russian occupiers waere active in the areas of Novomykolaivka, Hryshyne, Bilytske, Kucheriv Yar, Shakhove, Novopavlivka, Filiya, Vilne, Novooleksandrivka, Shevchenko, Kotlyne, Udachne, Toretske, Dorozhne, Rodynske, Novohryshyne, Hulive, Myrne and Serhiivka.
Oleksandrivka Direction
08:00 AM: the invaders tried to advance twice, in the areas of Piddubne and Ternove.
Huliaipole Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers attacked 23 times in the areas of Tsvitkove, Verkhnia Tersa, Novoselivka, Dobropillia, Rybne, Huliaipilskе, Zaliznychne, Hirke, Vozdvyzhivka, Olenokostyantynivka and Charivne.
Orikhiv Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders stopped two russian attempts to advance in the areas of Kamianske and Stepnohirsk.
Prydniprovskyi Direction
08:00 AM: on the Prydniprovskyi direction the russian enemy did not conduct active actions.
Volyn and Polissia Direction
08:00 AM: no signs of the enemy forming offensive groupings were detected.
Ukrainian defenders continue systematic destruction of the enemy and provide effective resistance across all front sectors.
Overall, over the past day Russian occupier losses amounted to 1,290 personnel. Also destroyed were eight tanks, ten infantry fighting vehicles, 93 artillery systems, two multiple-launch rocket systems, two air defense systems, eight ground robotic complexes, 2,346 unmanned aerial vehicles, 475 vehicles and two pieces of special equipment of the enemy.
