Update as of 08:00 AM on Russian invasion of Ukraine
A total of 230 combat engagements were recorded over the past day.
Yesterday, the enemy launched two missile strikes using five missiles, carried out 85 airstrikes, and dropped 275 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russian forces deployed 9,846 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,438 attacks against populated areas and the positions of Ukrainian troops, including 48 attacks using multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).
Over the past day, the missile forces and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck seven UAV command posts, five concentrations of enemy personnel, and six command posts of the Russian invaders.
Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk Direction
08:00 AM: Over the past day, eight combat engagements took place. The aggressor carried out four airstrikes, dropping seven guided bombs, and conducted 88 attacks on Ukrainian positions and populated areas, including three attacks using MLRS.
Southern-Slobozhanskyi Direction
08:00 AM: The enemy launched 10 attacks against Ukrainian positions near Starytsia and toward the settlements of Ivashkyne, Kolodiazne, Ternova, and Izbytske.
Kupiansk Direction
08:00 AM: Russian forces carried out five attacks toward Kupiansk, Radkivka, and Shyikivka.
Lyman Direction
08:00 AM: The enemy attempted to break through Ukrainian defenses 16 times, attacking toward the settlements of Drobysheve, Novoselivka, Stavky, Lyman, Ozerne, and Zarichne.
Sloviansk Direction
08:00 AM: Russian troops launched 23 assaults in the areas of Zakitne, Kryva Luka, and Riznykivka, as well as toward Mykolaivka, Pyskunivka, and Rai-Oleksandrivka.
Kramatorsk Direction
08:00 AM: Russian invaders conducted one russian attack near Fedorivka Druha.
Kostyantinivka Direction
08:00 AM: The enemy carried out 21 attacks in the areas of Kostiantynivka and Illinivka, and toward Mykolaypillia, Stepanivka, Kucheriv Yar, Novyi Shakhove, and Vilne.
Pokrovsk Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders repelled 37 Russian assaults in the areas of Dorozhne, Udachne, Nykanorivka, Kotlyne, Novomykolaivka, and Molodetske, as well as toward the settlements of Shevchenkove, Novooleksandrivka, Vasylivka, Bilytske, Novyi Donbas, Novopavlivka, and Serhiivka.
Oleksandrivka Direction
08:00 AM: The enemy launched two attacks toward Berezove and near Novohryhorivka.
Huliaipole Direction
08:00 AM: Russian occupation forces conducted 13 attacks toward Charivne, Vozdvyzhivka, Kosivtseve, Olenokostiantynivka,and Tsvitkove.
Orikhiv Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders repelled three attempts by the enemy to advance near Mali Shcherbaky and Shcherbaky.
Prydniprovskyi Direction
08:00 AM: The enemy conducted no offensive operations over the past day.
Volyn and Polissia Direction
08:00 AM: No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groupings were detected.
Ukrainian defenders continue the systematic destruction of enemy forces and are maintaining effective resistance along the entire front line.
Overall, during the past day, Russian forces lost 1,450 personnel. Ukrainian forces also destroyed or disabled:
