Operational Update as of 08:00 AM on Russian invasion of Ukraine
The 1,636th day of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine has begun.
Over the past day, a total of 236 combat engagements were recorded.
Yesterday, the enemy launched one missile strike involving 12 missiles and conducted 82 airstrikes, dropping 255 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the invaders used 11,783 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,309 attacks on populated areas and positions of Ukrainian forces.
The enemy shelled the settlements of Korenok, Ulane, Buniakyne, and Seredyna-Buda in Sumy Oblast. In addition, in Sumy Oblast, the areas around Velyka Chernechchyna, Stepaniivka, and Ulane came under airstrikes.
Over the past day, Ukrainian Defense Forces aviation, missile forces, and artillery struck 12 areas where enemy personnel were concentrated.
Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk Direction
08:00 AM: Over the past day, Ukrainian defenders stopped one russian assault. At the same time, the aggressor conducted two airstrikes using six guided aerial bombs and carried out 44 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas, including two attacks using multiple-launch rocket systems.
Southern-Slobozhanskyi Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian units repelled 17 russian attacks. The invaders attempted to advance in the areas of Lyman, Kozacha Lopan, and Izybtske, as well as toward Okhrimivka, Kruhle, and Dvorichanske.
Kupiansk Direction
08:00 AM: Three russian attacks were recorded in the areas of Kupiansk and Kurylivka, as well as toward Novoplatonivka.
Lyman Direction
08:00 AM: Attempts to penetrate Ukrainian defenses were repelled, where the occupiers launched eight attacks in the areas of Lyman and Dibrova, as well as toward Karpivka, Ridkodub, Novoselivka, and Drobysheve.
Sloviansk Direction
08:00 AM: The enemy conducted 20 assault operations in the areas of Kryva Luka, Zakitne, and Riznykivka, as well as toward Rai-Oleksandrivka and Mykolaivka.
Kramatorsk Direction
08:00 AM: The russian occupiers attacked three times toward the settlements of Yurkivka and Dibrova.
Kostyantinivka Direction
08:00 AM: A total of 26 attacks were recorded. The invaders conducted assault operations in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, and Ivanopillia, as well as toward Rusyn Yar, Novoselivka, and Stepaniivka.
Pokrovsk Direction
08:00 AM: The largest number of russian assault operations was recorded on this direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped 33 attacks.
The enemy was active in the areas of Bilytske and Serhiivka and carried out assaults toward Svitle, Kucheriv Yar, Novyi Donbas, Shevchenko, Novohryshyne, Myrne, Udachne, Molodetske, Novopidhorodne, and Novopavlivka.
Oleksandryvskyi Direction
08:00 AM: The invaders conducted one attack toward the settlement of Yehorivka.
Huliaipole Direction
08:00 AM: The occupiers attacked 19 times. The enemy attempted to advance in the areas of Hirke, Zaliznychne, and Huliaipole, as well as toward Charivne, Rivne, Rizdvianka, and Kopani.
Orikhiv Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders stopped one attempt by the russian occupiers to advance toward Novoiakivlivka.
Prydniprovskyi Direction
08:00 AM: The enemy conducted no assault operations over the past day.
Volyn and Polissia Direction
08:00 AM: No signs of the formation of offensive groupings by the enemy were detected.
The Russian occupiers suffered 1,440 personnel casualties over the past day.
