Fighters from the 16th Separate Support Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are using an engineering drone to deploy barbed wire obstacles in open terrain.
This was reported by Oboronka, citing the Ukrainian Ground Forces.
“An engineering drone in action! Deploying obstacles in open terrain always poses risks for combat engineers. But today, ground drones are doing this difficult job,” the statement said.

The Ukrainian Ground Forces said that the drone operated by the 16th Separate Support Brigade is equipped with an angled frame carrying a large coil of barbed wire. As it moves, the drone automatically deploys the wire obstacle, while an operator remotely controls the platform.
Earlier, it was reported that Ukrainian company Tencore had developed the Yehоza module for the TerMIT ground robot, allowing it to remotely deploy up to 100 meters of barbed wire obstacles.
Last year, Oboronka also reported that the Ukrainian NUMO ground robot can be equipped with a Yehоza barbed wire spool to deploy anti-personnel obstacles.
