MP David Arakhamia also said that most residents had requested evacuation to Ukrainian-controlled territory. According to the lawmaker, the Ukrainian delegation and the evacuated residents of Oleshky travelled to Anapa. From there, they flew to Belarus and will then continue their journey home by bus.

The evacuated residents of Oleshky have already arrived in Belarus, at Gomel Airport. They were met by local Emergency Situations Ministry personnel, medical workers and Red Cross volunteers. Buses carrying Ukrainians evacuated from Oleshky are expected to cross the state border into Ukraine in Chernihiv Region later today.
