Russia – Ukraine war updates: daily briefings as of May 7, 2018

Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of  May 7, 2018 by Joint forces operation HQ data: EMPR highlights.

(1) Russian hybrid forces launched 80 attacks in the war zone in eastern Ukraine over the last 24 hours.

(2) Krymske, Novotoshkivske, Luhanske, Avdiivka, Pisky, Troytske and Shyrokino reported as the hottest spot in the war zone for the past day. Russian forces opened fire in total 22 times from artillery, 2 times from mortars and 2 times from tanks on the mentioned directions.

(3) Russian occupiers violated Minsk aggrements by shelling with forbidden heavy weaponry (122-mm and 155-mm cannons) the settlements of Zaytseve and Nikolske (Horlivka suburbs in Donetsk Oblast).

(4)  Russian forces losses are as follows: 3 KIA and 5 WIA.

(5) 1 Ukrainian serviceman was killed in action and 4 servicemen wounded in actions for the past day.
