Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of December 8, 2019 by Joint forces operation HQ data: EMPR highlights.

(1) Russian hybrid forces launched 10 attacks in the war zone in eastern Ukraine for the last 24 hours. The enemy used forbidden 82-mm mortar launchers during shelling upon Ukrainian troops positions.

(2) Russian proxies launched 4 attacks with the following types of arms in the East area:

forbidden 82-mm mortar launchers – near Novoselivka Druha,

manual anti-tank grenade launchers – near Pavlopil (2 times), Novoselivka Druha and Shyrokino,

high caliber machine guns – near Pavlopil (2 times),

small arms – near Shyrokino,

(3) Russian occupiers launched 6 attacks in the North area with the use of the following types of arms:

forbidden 82-mm mortar launchers – near Mayorsk,

manual anti-tank grenade launchers – near Novoluhanske (2 times),

high caliber machine guns – near Novoluhanske (2 times), Zalizne and Luhanske,

grenade launchers – near Zalizne and Luhanske,

small arms – near Novoluhanske (2 times), Zalizne and Luhanske,

(4) 1 Ukrainian serviceman killed in actions and 3 Ukrainian servicemen were wounded in actions during the last 24 hours.
