The deceased’s sister wrote, “The only thing that survived from the apartment was a single photo that stood in the kitchen. It shows my sister and my one-and-a-half-year-old nephew, who were killed yesterday by a Russian KAB.”
The boy’s great-grandmother also died in the attack.
It is now known that this strike by Russian forces claimed the lives of nine people and injured 42 others.
A Day of Mourning has been declared in Zaporizhzhia today.
Heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased.
