Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the oil depot in Feodosia has been attacked seven times. At present, about 79% of its storage tanks have been destroyed or damaged.

According to Krym.Realii, this is supported by an analysis of satellite imagery by the analytical Telegram channel “Oko Gora.”

“Judging by satellite images, 79% of the tanks have been damaged or destroyed: Destroyed – 24 tanks (73%); Damaged – 2 tanks (6%); Undamaged – 7 tanks (21%),” the report says.

According to their data, as a result of the April 8 attack, one tank was destroyed and another was damaged.

In turn, the Telegram channel “Crimean Wind” reported on April 9 that a third storage tank had caught fire at the Feodosia oil depot. The Russian authorities have not officially commented on the situation, only stating that, “due to the current situation,” access to several streets has been closed to traffic.

Earlier, it was reported that late in the evening of April 7 and during the night of April 8, explosions were heard in Russia-occupied Crimea. Local public channels reported a possible drone attack and a fire at the Feodosia oil depot of the “Marine Oil Terminal” JSC.

Later, Commander of the Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces Robert Brovdi (callsign “Madyar”), as well as the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, confirmed strikes on the oil depot in Feodosia.
