This was reported by the National Nuclear Energy Generating Company “Energoatom.”
To stop the spread of misinformation about an alleged accident at the plant, the company clarified that an issue was identified in the operation of one of the plant’s power units, leading to its partial shutdown: “The issue will be resolved once Ukrenergo specialists restore damaged lines and ensure the ability to supply electricity.”
They added that this event is not related to maintenance work but occurred due to complex transitional modes resulting from enemy shelling of Ukrenergo’s infrastructure.
This caused significant fluctuations in the network parameters to which the power units were connected, leading to the disconnection of the units from the grid.
