The 1,499th day of the large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine has begun.
The Defense Forces continue to repel attempts by the occupiers to improve their positions and advance deeper into Ukraine’s territory, inflicting significant losses in manpower and equipment on the enemy across various sectors of the front.

In total, 146 combat engagements were recorded over the past day.
Yesterday, the enemy carried out 75 airstrikes, dropping 257 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they deployed 9,695 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,889 shelling attacks on populated areas and positions of our troops, including 77 using multiple launch rocket systems.
The aggressor carried out airstrikes, in particular, in the areas of the settlements of Luzhky and Esman in Sumy region; and Verkhna Tersa, Vozdvyzhivske, Huliaipilske, Mykilske, and Tavriiske in Zaporizhzhia region.
Over the past day, aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Defense Forces struck three areas where enemy personnel were concentrated.

Since the beginning of the day, the number of enemy attacks has already reached 127.
Artillery shelling of border areas continues. Today, in the Sumy region, the settlements of Bachivsk, Iskryskivshchyna, Bezsalivka, Tovstodubove, Vyntorivka, Volfyne, Korenok, Prohres, Brusky, Starykove, Nova Huta, and Havrylova Sloboda have come under fire.

08:00 AM: two combat engagements took place over the past day. The enemy carried out six airstrikes, dropping 20 guided bombs, and conducted 94 shelling attacks on our troops’ positions and populated areas, including four using multiple launch rocket systems.
04:00 PM: the enemy carried out 58 shelling attacks on populated areas and positions of our troops, three of which involved multiple launch rocket systems.
Southern-Slobozhanskyi Direction
08:00 AM: the russian enemy launched four assaults on the positions of our units near the settlements of Starytsia, Vovchansk, and Krasne Pershe.
04:00 PM: the Russians launched four assaults on the positions of our units near the settlements of Starytsia and Veterynarne; three combat engagements are still ongoing.
Kupiansk Direction
08:00 AM: the russian aggressor carried out 12 attacks near the settlements of Kurylivka, Borivska Andriivka, Pishchane, Kivsharivka, Novoplatonivka, and Novoosynove.
04:00 PM: the russian occupiers attempted seven times to improve its position toward the settlements of Petropavlivka, Kurylivka, and Novoosynove. One combat engagement is still ongoing.
Lyman Direction
08:00 AM: the russian enemy attacked six times, attempting to break into our defenses near Lyman and Stavky.
04:00 PM: Ukrainian forces repelled three russian attempts to advance toward the settlements of Nadiia and Drobysheve. Two combat engagements are ongoing.
Sloviansk Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders stopped four attempts by the russian occupiers to advance near Rai-Oleksandrivka, Riznykivka, and Yampil.
04:00 PM: one combat engagement is ongoing near Rai-Oleksandrivka.
Kramatorsk Direction
08:00 AM: the Russian occupiers made one attempt to advance toward the settlement of Malynivka.
04:00 PM: the Russians conducted no active operations.
Kostyantinivka Direction
08:00 AM: the Russians carried out 17 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Ivanopillia, Stepanivka, Yablunivka, and Sofiivka.
04:00 PM: the russian occupiers carried out nine attacks near the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Kleban-Byk, Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar, Sofiivka, and Novopavlivka. One battle is still ongoing.
Pokrovsk Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders stopped 31 assault actions by the aggressor near the settlements of Bilytske, Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Pokrovsk, Novomykolaivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Novopidhorodne, Hryshyne, and Filiia.
04:00 PM: since the beginning of the day, the russian occupiers have made 36 attempts to push our troops from their positions near the settlements of Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Udachne, Muravka, Molodetske, Filiia, and toward Bilytske, Shevchenko, Novopidhorodne, and Novopavlivka. Seven combat engagements are still ongoing.
Oleksandrivka Direction
08:00 AM: the russian enemy attacked seven times near the settlements of Oleksandrohrad, Nove Zaporizhzhia, Berezove, and Novohryhorivka.
04:00 PM: the russian occupiers launched 18 attacks near the settlements of Oleksandrohrad, Sichneve, Vorone, Krasnohirskе, and toward Ivanivka, Andriivka-Klevtsove, Sosnivka, Stepove, Vyshneve, and Verbove. Five combat engagements are currently ongoing. Kolomiitsi was hit by an airstrike.
Huliaipole Direction
08:00 AM: 20 russian attacks took place near Varvarivka, Zaliznychne, Huliaipilske, Tsvitkove, Hirke, Sviatopetrivka, Olenokostiantynivka, and Myrne.
04:00 PM: the Defense Forces successfully repelled 25 enemy attacks toward the settlements of Olenokostiantynivka, Pryluky, Varvarivka, Zaliznychne, Sviatopetrivka, Myrne, Zelene, Huliaipilske, and Charivne. Another 10 combat engagements are still ongoing. Liubytske was hit by an enemy airstrike.
Orikhiv Direction
08:00 AM: no active offensive actions by the enemy were recorded over the past day.
04:00 PM: the Russians carried out 13 attacks on the positions of our defenders near the settlements of Mali Shcherbaky, Shcherbaky, Stepnohirsk, Stepove, and toward Novodanylivka, Lukianivske, and Prymorske. The enemy also conducted airstrikes near the settlements of Omelnyk and Preobrazhenka. One combat engagement is still ongoing.
Prydniprovskyi Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian units repelled two enemy attacks near Bilogrudyi Island and the Antonivskyi Bridge.
04:00 PM: one assault action is ongoing toward the Antonivskyi Bridge.
Volyn and Polissia Directions
08:00 AM and 04:00 PM: no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groupings were detected.
Ukrainian defenders continue the systematic destruction of the enemy and provide effective resistance across all sectors of the front.
Overall, over the past day, Russian occupying forces lost 1,060 personnel. The enemy also lost: 2 units of special equipment, 2 tanks, 3 armored combat vehicles, 59 artillery systems, 3 multiple launch rocket systems, 2,069 unmanned aerial vehicles, 219 vehicles.
