The 1,500th day of Russia’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun.
Ukraine’s Defense Forces continue to repel attempts by occupying troops to improve their positions and advance deeper into Ukrainian territory, inflicting significant losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment.
Update as of 08:00 AM on Russian invasion of Ukraine
Over the past day, a total of 230 combat engagements were recorded.
Yesterday, the enemy carried out 63 airstrikes, dropping 213 guided aerial bombs. In addition, it deployed 9,058 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,788 shelling attacks on populated areas and Ukrainian military positions, including 104 using multiple launch rocket systems.
The aggressor also launched airstrikes in particular in the areas of the settlements of Kolomiitsi, Zelena Dolyna, Pidhavrylivka, Prosyana, Oleksandrivka, and Katerynivka in the Dnipropetrovsk region. In the Zaporizhzhia region, airstrikes affected Lyubytske, Omelnyk, Barvinivka, Dolynka, Huliaipilske, Vozdvyzhivka, Omelnyk, Shyroke, Kopani, Rivne, Novoselivka, Orikhiv, and Preobrazhenka.
Over the past day, Ukraine’s Air Force, missile forces, and artillery struck four areas of concentration of enemy personnel and equipment, one logistics hub, and one command post of Russian forces.

08:00 AM: three combat engagements took place over the past day. The enemy carried out one airstrike, dropped four guided bombs, and conducted 100 shelling attacks on Ukrainian positions and settlements, including four using multiple launch rocket systems.
Southern-Slobozhanskyi Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers attempted five times to break through defensive lines near the settlements of Starytsia and Veterynarne.
Kupiansk Direction
08:00 AM: the russian forces launched seven attacks toward the settlements of Petropavlivka, Kurylivka, Nova Kruhliakivka, and Novoosynove.

Pokrovsk Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders repelled 58 assault actions by the aggressor near the settlements of Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Myrnohrad, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Udachne, Muravka, Molodetske, Filiia, and toward Bilytske, Shevchenko, Novopidhorodne, and Novopavlivka.

08:00 AM: the russian troops attacked 21 times near the settlements of Oleksandrohrad, Sichneve, Vorone, Krasnohirsk, and toward Ivanivka, Andriivka-Klevtsove, Sosnivka, Stepove, Vyshneve, and Verbove.

08:00 AM: 40 russian attacks were recorded toward the settlements of Olenokostiantynivka, Staroukrainka, Pryluky, Varvarivka, Zaliznychne, Sviatopetrivka, Dobropillia, Solodke, Myrne, Zelene, Huliaipilske, and Charivne.
Orikhiv Direction
08:00 AM: the Russians attacked Ukrainian defensive positions 13 times near the settlements of Mali Shcherbaky, Shcherbaky, Stepnohirsk, Stepove, and toward Novodanylivka, Lukianivske, and Prymorske.
Prydniprovskyi Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian forces repelled two enemy assault attempts toward the Antonivskyi Bridge.
04:00 PM: one assault action is ongoing toward the Antonivskyi Bridge.
Volyn and Polissia Directions
08:00 AM: no signs of the formation of russian offensive groupings were detected.
Ukrainian defenders continue the systematic destruction of the enemy and are providing effective resistance along the entire front line.
Overall, enemy losses over the past day amounted to 1,230 personnel. In addition, the enemy lost three tanks, six armored combat vehicles, 65 artillery systems, 1,236 unmanned aerial vehicles, 177 vehicles, and two units of special equipment.
