The 1501st day of Russia’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun.
The Defense Forces continue to repel attempts by the occupiers to improve their tactical positions and advance deeper into Ukrainian territory, inflicting significant losses in personnel and equipment along various sections of the front.
Update as of 08:00 AM on Russian invasion of Ukraine
A total of 157 combat engagements were recorded over the past day.
Yesterday, the enemy launched three missile strikes using 37 missiles, as well as 80 airstrikes, dropping 260 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russian forces deployed 10,491 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,850 shelling attacks on populated areas and Ukrainian positions, including 119 using multiple launch rocket systems.
The aggressor carried out airstrikes, in particular, in the areas of the settlements of Velykomykhailivka, Pysantsi, Pokrovske, and Bohodarivka in the Dnipropetrovsk region. In the Zaporizhzhia region, airstrikes affected Vozdvyzhivka, Dolynka, Rivne, Kopani, Novomykolaivka, Vilchanka, Huliaipilske, Obshche, and Zarichne.
Over the past day, the aviation of the Defense Forces struck three areas where enemy personnel and equipment were concentrated.
Update as of 04:00 PM on Russian invasion of Ukraine
Since the beginning of the day, the aggressor has carried out 55 attacks on the positions of the Defense Forces.
Artillery shelling of border areas continues. Today, in the Sumy region, the settlements of Korenok, Bachivsk, Iskryskivshchyna, Boiaro-Lezhachi, Rohizne, and Ulanove came under fire. In the Chernihiv region, Yasna Polyana and Kryvusha were affected.

Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk Direction
08:00 AM: three combat engagements were recorded yesterday. The enemy carried out seven airstrikes using 18 guided aerial bombs and conducted 134 shelling attacks on Ukrainian positions and settlements, including 21 with multiple launch rocket systems.
04:00 PM: the enemy carried out 65 shelling attacks on populated areas and Ukrainian positions, seven of them using multiple launch rocket systems.
Southern-Slobozhanskyi Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers attempted five times to break through defensive lines in the areas of Starytsia, Krasne Pershe, and toward Tsehelne and Vilcha.
04:00 PM: the russian occupiers launched four assaults on Ukrainian positions near the settlements of Vovchansk, Okhrimivka, and Ambarne.
Kupiansk Direction
08:00 AM: the Russians carried out eight attacks in the area of Borivska Andriivka and toward Kivsharivka, Novoosynove, and Novoplatonivka.
04:00 PM: the russian troops made four attempts to improve its tactical position in the areas of Kivsharivka and Novoosynove.
Lyman Direction
08:00 AM: the russian troops attacked twice, attempting to penetrate Ukrainian defenses toward Dibrova and Novoserhiivka.
04:00 PM: Ukrainian forces repelled one attempt by the occupiers to advance toward the settlement of Lyman.
Sloviansk Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders repelled five attempts by the occupiers to advance near Rai-Oleksandrivka, Platonivka, and close to Zvanivka.
04:00 PM: the enemy did not conduct active operations.
Kramatorsk Direction
08:00 AM: the russian troops did not conduct offensive operations.

Kostyantinivka Direction
08:00 AM: the russians carried out 23 attacks in the areas of Kliaban-Byk, Pleshchiivka, Ivanopillia, Rusyn Yar, and toward Illinivka, Sofiivka, Novopavlivka, Kucheryv Yar, Kostiantynivka, and Stepanivka.
04:00 PM: the invaders carried out 17 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, Stepanivka, Novopavlivka, and Sofiivka. Four combat engagements are still ongoing.
Pokrovsk Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders repelled 35 assault actions in the areas of Bilytske, Shevchenko, Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Hryshyne, Serhiivka, Udachne, Muravka, Novomykolaivka, Novopidhorodne, Novopavlivka, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Molodetske, and Novyi Donbas.
04:00 PM: since the beginning of the day, the occupiers have made 11 attempts to push Ukrainian troops from their positions near Bilytske, Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Udachne, Hryshyne, Myrnohrad, and Novomykolaivka. Two engagements are still ongoing.
Oleksandrivka Direction
08:00 AM: the Russians attacked eight times in the areas of Andriivka-Klevtsove, Sichneve, Zlahoda, Novohryhorivka, Krasnohirsk, Stepove, and Oleksandrohrad.
04:00 PM: the Russians launched seven attacks near Oleksandrohrad, Sichneve, and Verbove.
Huliaipole Direction
08:00 AM: 16 attacks by the russian occupiers were recorded in the areas of Huliaipole, Olenokostiantynivka, Varvarivka, Zelene, and toward Dobropillia, Pryluky, Hirkе, Charivne, Zaliznychne, and Tsvitkove.
04:00 PM: Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully repelled seven enemy attacks near Varvarivka, Zaliznychne, Huliaipilske, Pryluky, Olenokostiantynivka, and Myrne. The enemy also carried out airstrikes near Vozdvyzhenske, Novoselivka, and Liubytske. One engagement is ongoing.
Orikhiv Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders repelled two attempts by the russian troops to advance near Stepove and Stepnohirsk.
04:00 PM: the russian troops attempted to advance once near the settlement of Stepove. In addition, airstrikes were carried out near Stepnohirsk and Hryhorivka.
Prydniprovskyi Direction
08:00 AM: the russian aggressor carried out five assault actions in the areas of the Antonivskyi Bridge and Hola Prystan.
04:00 PM: the russian enemy conducted two unsuccessful assault attempts toward the Antonivskyi Bridge and near Bilohrudyi Island.
Volyn and Polissia Directions
08:00 AM and 04:00 PM: no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groupings were detected.
Ukrainian defenders continue the systematic destruction of the enemy and are providing effective resistance along all sections of the front.
In total, over the past day, Russian losses amounted to 1,110 personnel. The enemy also lost two tanks, four armored combat vehicles, 85 artillery systems, three multiple launch rocket systems, 2,387 unmanned aerial vehicles, 26 cruise missiles, and 199 units of automotive equipment.
