SBU long-range drones struck Lukoil-Nizhnevolzhskneft oil platforms in the Caspian Sea for the third time this week, damaging critical equipment and halting production at key oil fields.
Long-range drones of the Special Operations Center “A” of the Security Service of Ukraine struck a Lukoil-Nizhnevolzhskneft facility in the Caspian Sea for the third time in the past week.
This was reported by Ukrainska Pravda.
According to the source, on December 15, a platform at the Korchagin oil and gas condensate field was hit.
The drone attack damaged critically important equipment, halting production processes.
On December 11 and 12, SBU drones had already targeted the Filanovskyy and Korchagin platforms.
The Filanovskyy field is one of the largest explored fields in Russia and in the Russian sector of the Caspian Sea, with reserves of 129 million tons of oil and 30 billion cubic meters of gas.
