The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine schedules July 31, 2025 vote on President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s urgent NABU and SAPO independence anti-corruption bill.
Ukraine’s Parliament has set July 31, 2025, for a special session to consider President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s bill No. 13533, which aims to restore and strengthen the independence of Ukraine’s anti-corruption institutions NABU and SAPO.
This was informed by the Parliament Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk via social media.
“A session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to consider the urgent presidential draft law ‘On Amendments to the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine and Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine to Strengthen the Powers of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office’ (No. 13533) will take place on July 31, 2025.”
Ruslan Stefanchuk added he will propose adopting the bill both in the first reading and as a whole, and to support its immediate signing.
