The Minsk talks failed as Russian terrorists entered Debaltseve, Donetsk Oblast, on February 17, casting uncertainty over the situation.
The Minsk agreements, signed on February 12 after a long, sleepless night, proved to be merely a sheet of paper. They now appear as another of Putin’s tricks, with Russia using the ceasefire to amass more weapons and soldiers in eastern Ukraine to attack the key railway hub of Debaltseve in Donetsk Oblast.
