Today is the 1,571st day of the large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.

Update as of 08:00 AM on Russian invasion of Ukraine

A total of 237 combat engagements were recorded over the past day. Yesterday, the enemy launched 88 air strikes, dropping 281 guided aerial bombs. In addition, it deployed 10,008 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,304 attacks on populated areas and the positions of Ukrainian forces, including 74 strikes using multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS). Over the past day, the Air Force, missile troops, and artillery of the Defense Forces struck five areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, two UAV command posts, four artillery pieces, and two battalion-level command posts.

Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk Direction

08:00 AM: the russian aggressor carried out two air strikes using seven guided aerial bombs, conducted 63 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas, including five using MLRS, and launched one assault action.

Southern-Slobozhanskyi Direction

08:00 AM: the russian occupiers attacked Ukrainian positions eight times in the areas of Lyman, Starytsia, Lyptsi, Vovchansk, Okhrimivka, and Volokhivka.

Kupiansk Direction

08:00 AM: the russian troops launched two attacks toward Shyikivka and Podoly.

Lyman Direction

08:00 AM: russian forces attempted to break through Ukrainian defenses 19 times, attacking in the areas of Zarichne, Lyman, Shyikivka, Novoselivka, Serednie, Drobysheve, Ozerne, Torske, and Novyi Myr.

Sloviansk Direction

08:00 AM: russian forces launched 14 assaults toward Rai-Oleksandrivka and in the areas of Riznykivka, Kryva Luka, and Zakitne.

Kramatorsk Direction

08:00 AM: Russian forces attacked once near Fedorivka.

Kostyantinivka Direction

08:00 AM: russian occupiers carried out 13 attacks in the areas of Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Pleshchiivka, Vilne, and toward Kostiantynivka, Hruzke, and Toretske.

Pokrovsk Direction

08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders repelled 36 russian assault actions toward Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Shevchenko, Hryshyne, Serhiivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novopidhorodne, Dorozhne, and Bilytske.

Oleksandrivka Direction

08:00 AM: russian forces attacked three times in the areas of Zlahoda, Kalynivske, and Oleksandrohrad.

Huliaipole Direction

08:00 AM: Russian forces launched 33 attacks toward Rybne, Vozdvyzhivka, Huliaipilske, Verkhnia Tersa, Tsvitkove, Zaliznychne, Rivnopillia, Varvarivka, Hirke, Myrne, Dobropillia, and Charivne.

Orikhiv Direction

08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders stopped five russian attempts to advance in the areas of Shcherbaky and Stepnohirsk.

Prydniprovskyi Direction

08:00 AM: the russian occupiers conducted no offensive actions.

Volyn and Polissia Directions

08:00 AM: No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groupings were detected in the Volyn and Polissia sectors.

Ukrainian defenders continue the systematic destruction of enemy forces and maintain effective resistance along the entire front line.

Overall, Russian losses over the past day amounted to 1,310 personnel. Ukrainian forces also destroyed or neutralized one tank, 11 armored combat vehicles, 88 artillery systems, four multiple launch rocket systems, one air defense system, 12 ground robotic systems, 2,164 unmanned aerial vehicles, 424 vehicles, and seven units of special equipment.
