Today is the 1,575th day of the large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.

Update as of 08:00 AM on Russian invasion of Ukraine

A total of 237 combat engagements were recorded along the frontline over the past day.

According to updated information, yesterday the enemy launched 94 air strikes, dropping 287 guided aerial bombs (KABs). In addition, Russian forces deployed 9,872 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,800 attacks on populated areas and Ukrainian military positions.

The settlements of Sukhodil, Luzhky, Mala Slobidka, and Ulanove in Sumy Oblast came under enemy air strikes.

Over the past day, the Air Force, Missile Forces, and Artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck 11 areas of enemy troop concentration, three artillery systems, and one command post.

Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk Direction

08:00 AM: the russian aggressor carried out four air strikes using nine guided aerial bombs and conducted 49 attacks on Ukrainian positions and populated areas.

Southern-Slobozhanskyi Direction

08:00 AM: the russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions six times in the areas of Okhrimivka, Hraniv, Izbytske, and Zybyne.

Kupiansk Direction

08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders repelled four enemy attempts to advance toward Podoly and Borivska Andriivka.

Lyman Direction

08:00 AM: Russian forces attempted 20 times to break through Ukrainian defenses in the areas of Zarichne, Andriivka, Drobysheve, Lyman, Dibrova, and Ozerne, as well as toward Shyikivka, Novoiehorivka, and Tverdokhlibove.

Sloviansk Direction

08:00 AM: the russian occupiers launched 13 assaults in the areas of Kalenyky and Zakitne, and toward Riznykivka, Kryva Luka, Mykolaivka, and Rai-Oleksandrivka.

08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders stopped 40 enemy assault actions in the areas of Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Shevchenko, Kotlyne, and Udachne, as well as toward Dorozhne, Vasylivka, Filiia, Nove Shakhove, Vilne, Kucheriv Yar, Bilytske, Nykanorivka, and Novyi Donbas.
