Some facts about Iryna Farion, who was killed near her home in Lviv

Ms. Iryna Farion was awarded numerous prizes. Last year, for her educational activities, she became a laureate of the All-Ukrainian Borys Hrinchenko Prize.

Farion authored over 200 scientific articles and four monographs.

She openly opposed the use of Russian in public places, educational institutions, and official events, which often led to numerous scandals.

Sometimes she indeed went too far, but she fought for what was ours and wanted to see Ukraine within Ukraine.
