Ukrainian press photographer Serhii Polezhaka created a photo series about Donbas blown bridges.
“To ruin a bridge means to separate on purpose, to force people to live apart without seeing and hearing each other. This leads to misunderstanding and even hatred. While various social connections appear in the country (volunteer movement or brothers in arms), an opportunity to come to understating with Donbas has been fading away everyday, as those bridges”, the photographer says.
