In the evening, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will meet with European leaders who are arriving in Berlin, reports korrespondent.net.
The second round of talks between the Ukrainian and US delegations has concluded in Berlin, according to Ukrainian presidential adviser Dmytro Lytvyn, Interfax-Ukraine reported on Monday, December 15.
According to him, Zelenskyy has already arrived to meet with German Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, a meeting that was scheduled after the talks with the US delegation.
The negotiations began earlier this morning, with President Zelenskyy participating.
Also expected in Berlin today are French President Emmanuel Macron, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
Zelenskyy’s meeting with the European leaders is expected to start at 20:00 Kyiv time.
Recall that on December 14, the first round of talks between the Ukrainian and US delegations took place, lasting over five hours. US presidential special envoy Steve Witkoff noted “significant progress.”
