The 1,426th day of Russia’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. Ukrainian defenders continue to steadfastly hold back the enemy’s advance, inflicting significant losses on the occupiers.
Update as of 08:00AM on Russian invasion of Ukraine
Over the past day, a total of 144 combat engagements were recorded.
Yesterday, the enemy carried out 112 airstrikes against the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, dropping 316 guided aerial bombs. In addition, 8,156 kamikaze drones were used, and 3,875 shelling attacks were conducted against the positions of Ukrainian troops and civilian settlements, including 70 strikes from multiple launch rocket systems.
The aggressor conducted airstrikes, in particular, on the areas of the following settlements: Khvyli, Mechetne, and Pokrovske in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast; and Verkhnia Tersa, Zhovta Krucha, Tavriiske, Vozdvyzhivka, Zaliznychne, Huliaipole, Dolynka, Svoboda, Rizdvianka, and Zirnytsia in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
Aircraft, missile forces, and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck 13 areas of concentration of enemy personnel and equipment, one command-and-observation post, and one electronic warfare station.

08:00 AM: one combat engagement took place over the past day. The enemy carried out two airstrikes, dropping three aerial bombs, and conducted 99 shelling attacks, including one from a multiple launch rocket system.

08:00 AM: Ukrainian forces repelled eight enemy attacks in the areas of Vovchanski Khutory, Vovchansk, Prylipky, and toward Kruhloye and Chuhunivka.

08:00 AM: five enemy attacks occurred yesterday. Ukrainian defenders repelled enemy assault actions in the area of Pishchane and toward Kurylivka, Petropavlivka, and Borivska Andriivka.

08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders stopped 50 enemy assault actions in the areas of Nykanorivka, Rodynske, Zatyshok, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Chervonyi Lyman, Kotlyne, Udachne, and Molodetske, and toward Serhiivka, Filiia, Kucheriv Yar, and Novopavlivka.
