The consular section of the Polish Embassy in Kyiv was damaged as a result of a Russian combined strike on the night of July 4, 2025.
This was written by the head of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Radosław Sikorski, on the social network.
On the morning of July 4, Sikorski said that the consular section of the Polish Embassy was damaged during a large-scale attack by Russian troops on Kyiv.
“I just spoke with Ambassador Lukasiewicz; everyone is alive and well. Ukraine urgently needs air defense systems,” the head of the Polish Foreign Ministry added.
It should be noted that from 18:00 on July 3, Russia attacked Ukraine with 550 air attack vehicles, 478 targets were neutralized, however, there were hits in eight locations and debris fell in 33 places. The main direction of the strike was Kyiv.
In the Ukrainian capital, fires and damage to residential buildings were recorded in six districts of the city. There are 19 casualties.
As a result of the Russian night attack on Kyiv, the railway infrastructure was also damaged. Passenger train traffic is partially restricted, and some flights are delayed by up to two hours.
As a reminder, as a result of the Russian attack on Kyiv on the night of June 10, a building near the European Union Mission in Ukraine was damaged.
