After the resumption of missile attacks (Tu-95MC), training at the “Engels-2” airbase has significantly decreased.
It is likely that the training of new crew members has been completed.
During the missile attack on August 26, Russia launched 13 Tu-95MC aircraft. This seems to have been the result of the training.
Two Tu-95MC aircraft that had flown in for X-101 missile loading (plus one additional aircraft) returned to “Olenya” on August 28, which confirms the missile loading process according to the scheme:
arrival → arming → departure
As of August 31, the number of Tu-95MC aircraft known to be armed is approximately seven (all stationed at the “Olenya” airbase).
The total number of Tu-95MC aircraft near Ukraine as of August 31 remains largely unchanged at 18:
“Olenya” — 9 Tu-95MC
“Engels-2” — 5 Tu-95MC
“Dyagilevo” — 4 Tu-95MC
