Woman and Child Killed in Russian Strike in Bohodukhiv, Kharkiv Region

A woman and a 10-year-old child were killed, and three others were injured in Bohodukhiv, Kharkiv region, as a result of a Russian drone strike during the night of February 9. Three more people were injured in other settlements in the region.

According to the service: “One of the strikes hit a residential building, which was completely destroyed. A fire broke out over an area of 50 sq. m, which was extinguished. From under the rubble, the bodies of two deceased were recovered: a woman and a 10-year-old boy.”

Details: Three more people were injured as a result of the attack.

Later, the prosecutor’s office added that the invaders struck Bohodukhiv with “Geran-2” drones.

“In the city of Bohodukhiv, at around 03:55, the strike hit the private residential sector. As a result of the attack, a 10-year-old boy and his mother were killed. Three more people were injured: a 22-year-old man sustained abrasions, while a 68-year-old man and an 89-year-old woman suffered acute stress reactions,” the prosecutor’s office reported.

The Russian drones also struck the settlement of Zolochiv. A multi-apartment residential building, the premises of two shops, and a car were damaged. A 17-year-old girl suffered an acute stress reaction.

As a result of attacks in the villages of Polova and Luzhok, residential houses, outbuildings, and vehicles were damaged. In Luzhok, a 73-year-old woman and an 18-year-old girl were injured.

Background:

During the night of February 9, Russian drones also attacked the Malodanylivska community in Kharkiv region, causing damage to houses and vehicles.
