The 1,643th day of Russia’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun.
Operational Update as of 08:00 AM on Russian invasion of Ukraine
A total of 231 combat engagements were recorded over the past day.
Yesterday, the aggressor carried out 95 airstrikes, using 299 guided aerial bombs, deployed 10,747 kamikaze drones, and conducted 3,110 shelling attacks against the positions of Ukrainian forces and populated areas, including 29 attacks using multiple-launch rocket systems.
Enemy artillery fire struck the settlements of Neskuchne, Bachivsk, Rohizne, Ulanove, Sopych, Korenok, Shpyl, Budky, Volfyne, and Yastrubshchyna in Sumy region, as well as Kryvusha and Semenivka in Chernihiv region. The enemy also carried out an airstrike on the area of Tovstodubove.
Over the past day, Ukrainian Air Force, missile forces, and artillery units struck eight areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, six unmanned aerial vehicle control points, five artillery systems, one command post, one communications hub, two multiple-launch rocket systems, and one radar station belonging to the Russian occupying forces.
Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders repelled six russian assaults over the past day. At the same time, the aggressor carried out one airstrike, dropping one aerial bomb, and conducted 95 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian forces and populated areas.
Southern-Slobozhanskyi Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian units repelled nine russian attacks. The occupiers attempted to advance toward Okhrimivka, Symynivka, Kruhle, Zarubynka, and in the area of Vovchansk.
Kupiansk Direction
08:00 AM: there were 16 russian offensive actions toward Radkivka and Kupiansk.
Lyman Direction
08:00 AM: Attempts to breach Ukrainian defenses were repelled, the russian occupiers launched 14 attacks toward Stepove, Chervonyi Stav, Druzheliubivka, Novyi Myr, Drobyshеve, Lyman, and Novoselivka.
Sloviansk Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers carried out eight assault actions in the areas of Ozerne, Kryva Luka, and Zakitne.
Kramatorsk Direction
08:00 AM: Russian forces conducted one offensive action toward Yurkivka.
Kostyantinivka Direction
08:00 AM: 35 Russian attacks were recorded. The occupiers conducted assault operations in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Toretske, Sofiivka, and Dovha Balka, as well as toward Stepanivka, Pavlivka, Rusyn Yar, and Vilne.
Pokrovsk Direction
08:00 AM: The russian troops launched 20 attacks. The occupiers attempted to advance toward Bilytske, Novyi Donbas, Svitle, Serhiivka, Hannivka, Shevchenko, Matiasheve, and Novopavlivka, as well as in the areas of Dorozhnie and Udachne.
Oleksandryvskyi Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers carried out one attack toward Novе Zaporizhzhia.
Huliaipole Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers attacked Ukrainian defensive positions six times. The enemy attempted to advance toward Verkhnyа Tersa, Staroukrainka, and Hirke, as well as in the areas of Zaliznychne and Tsvitkove.
Orikhiv Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders stopped two attempts by the enemy to advance toward Pavlivka and Novoandriivka.
Prydniprovskyi Direction
08:00 AM: the russian enemy did not conduct any offensive operations.
Volyn and Polissia Direction
08:00 AM: there were no signs of the formation of offensive groupings by the occupiers.
Overall, Russian forces suffered 1,490 casualties over the past day.
