Sikorski stated that Russia’s deployment of a new ballistic missile is “a sign of Putin’s desperation.”
“There’s a lot of speculation about what exactly struck Ukraine. Russia has been using ballistic missiles throughout the war. However, reports suggest this could have been an intercontinental ballistic missile, typically designed for other purposes. If that’s the case, it would, on the one hand, represent an escalation and a signal, but on the other hand, a sign of desperation, as Putin cannot win this war,” Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski said.
At the same time, Sikorski emphasized that Moscow’s involvement of North Korean military personnel “is not a show of strength.”
