The 1,534nd day of the large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine has begun.
Update as of 08:00 AM on Russian invasion of Ukraine
In total, 157 combat engagements were recorded over the past day.
Yesterday, the enemy carried out one missile strike using two missiles, as well as 78 airstrikes, dropping 256 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they deployed 9,317 kamikaze drones and conducted 2,696 shelling attacks on populated areas and our troops’ positions, including 67 using multiple launch rocket systems.
The aggressor launched airstrikes, in particular, in the areas of the settlements of Tovstodubove and Holubivka in the Sumy region.
Over the past day, aircraft, missile forces, and artillery of the Defense Forces struck nine areas of enemy personnel concentration, one artillery system, and another important enemy target.

Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers carried out six airstrikes using 17 guided aerial bombs, conducted 69 shelling attacks on our troops’ positions and populated areas, including eight using multiple launch rocket systems. Two enemy assault actions were recorded.
Southern-Slobozhanskyi Direction
08:00 AM: the russian troops attacked 17 times in the areas of Vovchansk and Starytsia, and toward Lyptsi, Lyman, Izbytske, Mala Vovcha, Symynivka, Zelene, and Vilcha.
Kupiansk Direction
08:00 AM: the Russians attacked ten times toward Kurylivka, Pishchane, Novoplatonivka, and in the areas of Borivska Andriivka, Radkivka, and Petropavlivka.
Lyman Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers attempted 17 times to break into our defenses, attacking in the areas of Nadiia, Stavky, Yampil, and toward Lyman, Novoserhiivka, Ozerne, and Tverdokhlibove.
Sloviansk Direction
08:00 AM: the enemy did not conduct assault operations.
Kramatorsk Direction
08:00 AM: no enemy attacks were recorded.
Kostyantinivka Direction
08:00 AM: the russian troops carried out 17 attacks in the areas of Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Pleshchiivka, Stepanivka, and toward Kostiantynivka, Novopavlivka, Toretske, and Sofiivka.
Pokrovsk Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders stopped 29 assault actions by the aggressor toward the settlements of Nykanorivka, Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Shevchenko, Pokrovsk, Hryshyne, Serhiivka, Molodetske, and Novyi Donbas.
Oleksandrivka Direction
08:00 AM: the russian troops attacked twice toward Verbove and Novohryhorivka.
Huliaipole Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers carried out 21 attacks in the areas of Zlahoda, Dobropillia, Staroukrainka, Zelene, and Rybne, and toward the settlements of Hirske, Huliaipilske, and Pryluky.
Orikhiv Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders stopped two russian attempts to advance in the area of Shcherbaky.
Prydniprovskyi Direction

Volyn and Polissia Directions

Ukrainian defenders continue the systematic destruction of the enemy and are putting up effective resistance along all sectors of the front.
Overall, over the past day, the losses of Russian invaders amounted to 890 personnel. Ukrainian forces also neutralized six armored combat vehicles, 61 artillery systems, one multiple launch rocket system, two air defense systems, four ground robotic systems, 1,851 unmanned aerial vehicles, 233 units of automotive equipment, and two units of special equipment.
